The Bandai Azuma Skyline, which connects Takayu Onsen and Tsuchiyu Pass, is a mountain sightseeing road that weaves through the Azuma mountain range, with a total length of 29 km and a maximum altitude of 1,622 m. It has been selected as one of the 100 best roads in Japan, and many tourists visit every year for driving and touring as a highlight of autumn leaves.

景勝地「吾妻八景」からの展望が見どころ。天狗の庭からは吾妻小富士の斜面に広がる紅葉のグラデーションが見られ、絶好のビューポイントとなっている。周辺には高湯温泉や土湯温泉があり、日帰り入浴ができるので、湯めぐりも楽しめる。
