日本最古の現存するキリスト教教会〜The oldest existing Christian church in Japan

大浦天主堂は、1865年に建てられたゴシック様式の美しい教会です。フランシスコ・ザビエルによってもたらされたキリスト教の歴史を感じられる場所であり、「潜伏キリシタン」の歴史にも触れられます。2018年には世界文化遺産にも登録されました。 Oura Tenshudo is a beautiful Gothic-style church built in 1865. It is a place where you can feel the history of Christianity brought by Francis Xavier and the history of the “Hidden Christians” It was registered as a World Cultural Heritage in 2018.

長崎は、1945年に原爆が投下された都市の一つです。平和公園には、平和祈念像があり、世界中の訪問者が平和を祈る場となっています。隣接する「長崎原爆資料館」では、原爆の被害や復興の歴史を学ぶことができます。 Nagasaki is one of the cities where the atomic bomb was dropped in 1945. From Mount Inasa, which rises 333 meters above sea level, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Nagasaki City. A ropeway is recommended to enjoy the night view.

1634年に架けられた、日本最古のアーチ型石橋。水面に映る橋の姿が「メガネ」のように見えることから「眼鏡橋」と呼ばれています。周辺にはレトロなカフェも多く、散策にも最適です。　　The oldest arched stone bridge in Japan, built in 1634.
